The tradition of growing wine at our vineyard dates back to 1416, since 1856 the vineyard is owned by the Jamek family.

The current generation - Erwin and Anna-Maria Jamek - took over in1975.

Today we grow Gruener Veltliner, Neuburger, Rheinriesling, Muskat Ottonell, Fruehroter Veltliner and Zweigelt in some of the best areas in the Wachau - Achleiten, Postoller, Pichl Point and Flackl.

All our vineyards are cultivated biologically. Grapes are reaped by hand and pressed with care in our 400 year old oak press and cultivated for several months in wooden kegs before being bottled.

As member of "Vinea Wachau" we produce the categories of Steinfeder, Federspiel and Smaragd.

Our wines can be tasted in our vineyard cellar or in our Heurigenstube. We cultivate biologically vineyards adding up to 3,5 ha in some of the most highly regarded wine growing areas of the Wachau.

And we will be glad to serve you as an add-on our home made apricot brandy distilled from the world famous Wachauer Apricots.
